Have done the tourist bit today with visits to Hindu Temples and Buddhist Stupas.I was very fortunate to have a very good guide who was not only knowledgeable but also fun and taught me some more Nepali (not much of which I can remember ) Nepali is now making some sense.It has been hard trying to learn a language from dictionaries and phrase books but I have surprised myself and retained more than I thought.
It has been very close today with some torrential rain and my guide was concerned about me getting wet and kept me coverered with his umbrella.I ,however ,was so hot I wanted to dance in it.I didn't have the confidence to today but maybe I will before I leave and join in with some of the children.
