Pani,pani,pani,pani........rain,rain,rain,rain.Went to yoga this morning and spent the first half doing yoga and then we sang and danced.I am not sure if it was because of the rain or because today if Father's Day here.I am finding the rubbish everywhere quite hard.As far as I can gather from the newspaper landfill sites are almost full and Kathmandu valley is in a sort of bowl so rubbish disposal is quite an issue here.It appears that households collect their rubbish and then dump in on the side of the road in designated areas which is then sorted mainly by children in food waste cardboard and plastics.The monkeys and cattle also find anything worth eating.

There are bilboards promoting a cleanup.As with India I think alot of the problem stems from the introduction of plastic bottles and bags which are everywhere.
