Sense of direction!

As some of you are well aware I have no sense of direction and really struggle with my lefts and rights.
Well.... I walked to Naxal for the first time this morning but got so lost I had to get a taxi to meet Bernita who then took me to Naxal. So when I left this afternoon I walked to the social tours office on my own and then all the way back home to redeem myself. They had a good laugh in the office at my expense!!!! but I know the way now. I often tell children that mistakes corrected lead to learning! I think I will be able to walk it in my sleep by the time I leave. It is a 20-30 minute walk to the orphanage and then a further 20-30 mins to socailtours(depending on the traffic ) There a almost no pedestrian paths and traffic is everywhere! No rules just horn pecking order!
It seriously rained today so that is my picture for the day.
Sometimes I really love my computer.I have just seen and spoken to James and Naomi on Skype for about 20 minutes and seen Pebble! When they work properly they are brilliant! (Computers..not James and Naomi!)
I am hoping to spend a full day at the orphanage tomorrow and hopefully meet the older children.

  1. Hello

Glad you are back with us - all still seems a bit unreal - does it still seem like that for you? My mother used to walk barefoot in the rain in Singapore - have you danced in it yet? Love the pictures - it all looks so beautiful. Much love, Bernadette xx
