and after!!!!!!

12 litres of paint later.......and this was the result. The children,Didis,Kausalya,Reema ,Shruti,Anu,Ganesh Ji ,others and myself all had a go.It took most of the day and the children did most of the painting including the slide, climbing frame, seesaw and swing. The ground was also cleared and is to be filled with a mixture of sand and soil.
Today is Children's day in Nepal and Ganesh requested that I write 'Happy Children's Day 2009' because from today ,each year on Children's Day, the walls are to be painted by the children and staff of OCCED.
I decided not to take photos while the painting was happening as there was too much going on.There were 24 paint brushes and 12 litres of enamel paint moving around. The children were all so responsible. They really are a credit to OCCED.
I am going to have a copy of Toilate on my bathroom door.
The roof outside the girls room has also been cleared of rubbish today. It looks so much better and has to be healthier for them.
Thanks to you and your donations this was possible today. It was so cool!
