I presented Kausalya with the books I bought on Friday. It was a very emotional moment.I have also figured out a way that Reema and Kausalya could carry on playing the songs when I have gone.I have written the notes on the keyboard with a permanent pen and written them on the music also.Reema is already playing 'In Kathmandu there is a Zoo' and 'The days of the week' They are so HAPPY.
Benita then arrived after her meeting with the OCCED board and they have agreed to send Kausalya on a Preschool training course which will not only benefit the children but it means that if she ever decides to leave the orphanage she will be able to get a better paid job.She was so delighted and emotional.
The painting has begun on the outside area.It has had its first coat and looks 100% better already.
The amount of N.Rupees I was told was inaccurate. It was actually over 290,000.WOW WOW WOW.Social Tours have released it at my request today to go into the OCCED account. When I saw Ganesh this afternoon he was a very happy man.
The hugs I had from Kausalya today are for all of you.Everyone here who knows about the money knows exactly where it is from ,from apple picking, to bike riding,to pocket money,to afternoon teas to sheer people generosity.Their thanks goes to all of you.
I spent the afternoon in the nursery. It was a lovely time although one of the children had a very upset tummy so needed a lot of TLC.
I actually left at 4:00 today as I found it quite emotionally overwhelming. So I am here at home at 5:00 knowing that Henry and his band could be playing at anytime. If any of you would like to vote for him you can text 'London 6195' to 64343.
What a tremendous day and thankyou for making all this possible -to be able to give and to see the difference it is making. Well done.
