This morning as it was a holiday the children asked if they could watch a cartoon .Sonia ,Kausalya and I spent the morning preparing for the craft work this afternoon.All the staff except for the DIdis left at two o'clock .We spent the afternoon making butterflies with 14 of the children.It involved a lot of scissor work which is something they are not very adept at.They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.Once we had cleared away and the younger children came upstairs from their sleep we danced....for two hours! Very tired children....very tired me.We had so much fun!
The electricity has just gone off again.Last year it did not go every day but this year it is happening every day,and sometimes twice.Ganesh was telling me that before the monsoon when the rivers are low it can be off for up to 16 hours.
