I have been home for a day now and am still jet lagged and culturally challenged. What has hit me most on arriving home is how much we have in terms of material wealth and how much we take for granted.People here also appear so focused in what they are doing that there is little time to pass a smile or a hello. It Nepal people mostly walk with their heads up and if they catch your eye there is a smile of acknowledgement followed by a Namaste.I will miss that.
I have decided to keep my blog running and write my reflective thoughts about my time in Nepal and coming home.I also want to keep you all updated on the progress at the home and will keep putting up photos.I am also going to load so photos of James' and my adventures but I need to sort them first as there are over 1500 just from those 18 days.
I am going back to OCCED next August and am hoping ,if finances and life allows,to go back once a year.
