I went to yoga next door again this morning and towards the end I fell asleep!
Saturday is the equivalent of our Sunday here so there are only the children and the Didis at the home.Today Adryon (another volunteer) and I made friendship bracelets with some of the children. They took a very long time but those that made them really enjoyed themselves. The children concentrate so hard and as past experience has shown finish a task however long it takes.
I don't feel as if I am achieving much this time but I think that is partly because painting the wall made such a visible difference. It is going to be repainted on Children's day as Ganesh said last year.
It must be so hard for the board. There is so much they want to do but with losing one of the buildings puts such a financial strain on them and understandably they don't want to spend any more money on the buildings until they know what is going to happen.

Dear Caorunn - you are achieving more than you realise, giving the children and your extended family in Nepal so much hope, inspiration and confidence by returning this year. You are amazing and we all love you so much! Big hugs & kisses from Em, Paul, Tommy & Sam xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above. It maybe because you achieved SO much on your last visit that you feel like this but you are confirming the achievements of then and since then. The people there-adults and children know you really care and you demonstrate this everyday -a infinitely precious gift to them.
