How many people can you fit in a Tuk Tuk?

I am back online!!!

It seems more than 3 days that I have been offline and so much has happened.The final of the chess tournament was yesterday and 2 OCCED boys were in the first 10.It really was a great success.

I have worked with the preschool children most of the time.They all work so hard and can sit and concentrate for long periods of time.They are learning the songs I brought with me and I have managed almost a new one every day. Our singing time is extending as we are still singing the first ones as well.

Since I have been here I have been on national television twice.Once when I was dancing at the

Teej Women's festival and then again at the chess tournament opening.I am being teased about

it here.

Yesterday I had my first Tuk Tuk ride.......and the answer is 14!!!I also had a lift home from OCCED on the back of Nilamber's scooter.It was wicked! No helmet, wind in my hair and zipping between cars ,lorrries and buses and avoiding pedestrians ,dogs and the odd cow.It was also raining.It beat walking ! Same obstacles just quicker. Then this

morning Indiver gave me a lift to OCCED on his scooter.I'm thinking about hiring one. Only joking!

Today we had a session with the girls with the ocarinas.They were a great hit. All the Didis also have one each so they can all play together.Twinkle Twinkle little Star is almost there.

On a more serious note the water filtration unit packed up today beyond repair.All the children were at home as it is another festival day.The only drinking water they had was the bottles of ready filtered water for lunch time.Because your money was there, the new filtration unit was being fitted by 5 o'clock and the children have safe water for tea without the Didis having to boil enough for 57 people.I think it was roughly £125.Thank you all!
